Pricing and billing

There are no per-user prices and no limits on users, evals, runs or pull requests. The audit is free for every repository because your coding agent writes it with your own model subscription.

Private repositories

A private repository starts out not enabled. It still gets:

• the audit and report;
• results recorded from every eval workflow run;
• a neutral evalship check titled "Not enabled for this private repo", with a link to enable it;
• badges, with the badge token.

It doesn't get a PR comment, a gate, untested change detection or failure patterns until you enable it.

Enabling a repository

Use "Enable PR comments" on the repository's report page or settings page on evalship. Enabling takes effect from the next workflow run.

• The first repository on an account opens a checkout at Polar with a 14-day trial.
• Each further repository adds one repository to the subscription. Polar prorates the difference for the rest of the billing period.
• Disabling a repository removes it from the subscription, also prorated. Disabling the last one doesn't cancel the subscription; cancel it in the billing portal.

The subscription belongs to the GitHub account or organization that installed the App. For a personal account, only that user can enable or disable repositories; for an organization, only organization owners can. Everyone with access to a repository can use evalship on it.

Billing

Billing runs through Polar, which is the merchant of record: Polar charges the card, handles VAT and sales tax, and issues invoices. The account page on evalship links account owners and organization owners to the Polar customer portal, where they can download invoices, change the payment method and cancel.

If a payment fails, PR comments keep working while the subscription is past due. When the subscription ends, enabled private repositories go back to the not-enabled state described above; nothing is deleted.
